Junkyard Wars-Cash from Trash

THINK '10 brings to you "The JunkYard Wars", your chance to prove your mettle at our very own version of the all time popular TV reality show. If you think that you are smart and creative enough and up to the task at hand to make a civil structure out of backyard junk, then join us as we take you for a bumpy and adventurous ride around our own homegrown junkyard inside our Campus during our very own THINK10.

Format

JunkYard Wars will consist of two parts:

1. Written Elimination Round: The registered teams will have to take a written questionnaire as a part of the written eliminations. The questionnaire will comprise of some simple Multiple Choice Questions based on the knowledge vital for the final round. It will also test a person's understanding about different civil structures and civil processes. Our basic aim is to check a person's aptitude required to come up with the best possible output from a given set of resources. Teams will be selected for JunkYard Wars based upon their performance in the questionnaire.

2. JunkYard Wars: This is the final round which is based on the popular television series 'JUNKYARD WARS'. For this round, teams will be required to meet the requirements of the  problem definition, out of the provided junk, which will be announced at the time of the event.

General Rules

1.   Each team may consist of a maximum of 4 members.

2.   The organizers reserve all rights to disqualify any team for usage of unfair means.

3.   In case of any discrepancies, decision of the organizers shall be considered final and binding for all.

Eligibilty

Any person with a valid student identity card of his/her educational institute is eligible to participate in THE JUNKYARD WARS.
