TOPICS:

1. ENERGY A BURNING PROBLEM REQUIRING COOL HEAD EFFORT: In your role as a technocrat you will constantly be required to use and save energy. College offers you an oppurtunity to devise energy efficient illumination system for all facilities of the college and college campus.College has been using energy in various forms. Illumination system  for all facilities of college is one amoungst them.

Suggest methods/processes for minimizing the energy consumed in illumination & keeping it enviromental friendly.

 

2. E-WASTE: College has a lot of equipments generating a lot of E – waste and other waste materials. Identify the sources & suggest means and methodology to convert this waste into an oppurtunity.

 

3. PARKING SPACE: College is rapidly expanding both its infrastructure and human resource. This have resulted in scarcity for parking space of vehicles. Study requirments for parking of vehicles & suggest means & methods to maximize utilization of parking space.

 

 

RULES:

1. Team not exceeding 4 students.

2. The solution to the problem should be in the form of power point presentation (30 minutes) indicating the steps to be followed methods/systems to be adopted.

3. Solutions should state different alternatives and detailed component level diagrams are not necessary.
